Tell us we’re wrong
Corrections, faceoff requests, questions, or a product you think we should test — it all comes to one inbox, and it all gets read.
Email us
There’s no contact form here — just an address, which is faster for both of us:
appsparktechnologies@gmail.com
Everything below goes to the same place. No need to work out which category you fit.
The Clash Test is a one-person operation, so we can’t promise a reply to every message. What we can promise is that everything gets read, and that anything factual gets acted on.
Corrections and errors
This is the email we most want to get.
If a measurement looks wrong, a price is out of date, an airline has changed its rules, or a verdict doesn’t match your experience of actually flying with the thing — tell us, bluntly. You don’t need to be polite about it.
Corrections from people who’ve used the products in the real world are some of the most valuable feedback we get, and we’d rather hear it from you than leave a wrong number sitting there misleading the next reader. When we fix something, we note what changed at the bottom of the article rather than editing quietly.
Faceoff requests
Stuck between two products and can’t find a straight answer anywhere? That’s exactly what this site is for.
Send us the two you’re weighing up and, if you can, a line about what’s making it hard to choose. Reader requests genuinely shape what we test next — a real person stuck on a real decision is a much better signal than a keyword tool.
We can’t take on every request, and we prioritise the pairings that come up most, but every one gets logged.
Brands and PR
You’re welcome to get in touch, as long as you’ve read this bit first.
We’re happy to hear about products worth testing. What we won’t do is agree a verdict in advance, let you see or approve an article before it’s published, or take payment for a favourable result. There is no price for that.
If you send us a product, we’ll say so clearly at the top of that article. It buys coverage and nothing else: it goes through exactly the same tests as everything else, it’s scored the same way, and it can lose. Our testing method and disclosure policy set out the full terms, and they aren’t negotiable.
Please don’t send mass press releases. They go straight in the bin, and it’s a waste of your time as much as ours.
Anything else
Questions about how we test, how we’re funded, why a particular product won, or anything else about the site — just ask. If you think something here doesn’t add up, we’d rather you challenged us than quietly decided we’re not worth reading.
What happens to your email
We use what you send purely to reply to you and to act on what you’ve told us. We don’t add you to any mailing list, we don’t pass your details to anyone, and we don’t sell data. Our privacy policy has the full detail, including how to have your message deleted.
